The Insolvency Group Limited are proud to be a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA) Volume Provider Regulation Scheme. The IPA strongly believes that the Volume Provider Regulation Scheme, a first in the insolvency profession, will deliver lasting confidence in the personal debt solutions market.

Launched by the IPA, the Volume Provider Regulation (VPR) Scheme came into effect on 1 January 2019.

The VPR Scheme was rolled out in response to the rapid development of the Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) market – the most commonly used debt solution in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The Scheme provides some of the closest scrutiny seen in financial services. More information on the Scheme, including the IPA’s Benchmark Report can be found here.

From the beginning to the very end of your IVA journey our team of friendly and experienced staff are here to help.

We’ll guide you through your initial decision to set up an IVA, collate and send all the paperwork required, liaise with your lenders, conduct regular reviews of your circumstances, and be on hand to answer your questions every step of the way.

Our excellent ongoing personal service is one reason why so many of our customers succeed with their IVA.

To ensure the success of your IVA we will:

Discuss your income and expenditure with you in order to work out what is affordable and sustainable for you to reasonably pay to your lenders. This includes ensuring that all your essential living costs are covered in your IVA proposal.

Explain everything you need to know about your proposal. Our trained IVA Drafters will answer your questions and make sure you understand what you need to do to make your IVA a success. This is normally conducted over the phone but if you require a face to face meeting please let us know.

Let your lenders know about your situation and that we are drawing up a proposal on your behalf.

Draw up your proposal, detailing your circumstances and setting out the terms on which your IVA will be based. Once you’ve read, signed and returned it, we’ll submit it to your creditors.

Arrange a meeting of the creditors, who will have an opportunity to vote on your proposal. There’s no guarantee that your IVA will be accepted, but we’ll take care of the negotiations and, providing your proposal is accepted by enough of your creditors (75% by value of your unsecured debts), your IVA will officially commence.

Have a team on hand to manage your approved IVA. They’ll be there to answer your questions or discuss any concerns you may have throughout your IVA. If you receive any letters or calls, just let us know and we’ll take care of it. They’ll review your case regularly and, if you do run into any difficulties or your circumstances change, they will do what they can to ensure your IVA can continue running smoothly.

All the way through your IVA, you can count on us to do everything we can to make sure your IVA succeeds. If you start to struggle, make sure you get in touch and we’ll see what we can do to put things right. If your IVA fails it could result in bankruptcy, so you must let us know if there are any problems. We’re here to answer your questions and handle any issues that might come up from the day your IVA starts to the day you’re debt free.

With peace of mind that everything is being taken care of for you, you can focus on making your one monthly payment and getting on with your life!
